Bodmin College Recycling Advocates

Work Skills and Greenfield students from Bodmin College got hands-on with Beach Guardian to repurpose materials destined for landfill.

Firstly, a group cut out templates from abandoned Board Masters tents to be made into beach clean collection bags, following the perfect reuse, reduce, recycle scheme.

Another group used their skills sorting through and categorising plastic which had been collected from a previous beach clean to create the recycled projects.

Finally, the third group went into the workshop to identify different types of plastic, placing it in the shredder, and then using the moulding machine to make trolley coins and rulers.

A productive day learning new skills and great teamwork for Bodmin College, showcasing our ethos of recycling and protecting our planet! Well done Bodmin College!
