The annual graduation event recognised ECTs, ITTs and Foundation Degree students in CELT schools in Mid-Cornwall.
Cornwall Education Learning Trust is celebrating the achievements of its Early Career Teachers (ECTs), Initial Teacher Training (ITT) participants and Foundation Degree students following a special graduation event recognising their dedication and success.
The celebration marked an important milestone for colleagues who have completed their programmes, recognising the hard work, commitment and resilience they have shown throughout their teacher training and professional development journey.
As a Trust committed to developing exceptional educators, CELT is proud to support aspiring teachers and education professionals through high-quality teacher training in Cornwall. Working alongside experienced mentors and school leaders, our graduates have developed the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to make a meaningful difference in classrooms across Cornwall and beyond.
The event also celebrated the invaluable contribution of mentors, colleagues and partner schools who have supported each learner along the way. Their encouragement and expertise have played a vital role in helping our trainee teachers and Early Career Teachers grow into reflective, skilled and compassionate professionals.
Lesley Ford, ECT Lead and ITT Subject Lead said 'What an incredible year it has been for our ITT programme and we are so proud of every trainee who has been part of the journey. From the first nervous days in the classroom to becoming confident, skilled and inspiring teachers - what a privilege it has been to watch them grow. We are delighted that our trainees have gone on to secure teaching positions both within our Trust and in schools beyond it.'
'Our ECTs have successfully completed their statutory induction period and have reached this important milestone in their teaching careers. Their ECT journey may be complete, but this is just the beginning.'
Every graduate has demonstrated a shared commitment to improving outcomes for children and young people in Cornwall, embodying CELT's values. We know they will have a lasting impact on the learners, schools and communities they serve throughout their careers.
Everyone at Cornwall Education Learning Trust extends its warmest congratulations to our ECTs, trainee teachers and Foundation Degree students on this outstanding achievement. We wish them every success as they take the next step in their careers and look forward to seeing the positive difference they will make for future generations.
For those considering teacher training in Cornwall, CELT offers a supportive environment where aspiring teachers can learn from experienced practitioners, develop their classroom expertise and build rewarding careers in education.
