Newquay Tretherras Sixth Form students celebrate results day 2025.
Students at Newquay Tretherras, part of the Cornwall Education Learning Trust, continue to receive strong A Level results having completed successful exams earlier this year.
This morning, excited students opened their exam results to discover the future that awaits them, surrounded by proud families, teachers and friends. The college is pleased to announce a year of excellent results for students, with many successfully gaining places on their desired degree courses and apprenticeships.

There were also nine students who achieved D*D*D* in Sports Performance and Fitness Instructing.
Andy Booth, Head of Sixth Form at Newquay Tretherras, said:
“We are incredibly proud of our students and their achievements. The resilience they have shown throughout their time in the sixth form is a testament to their character and resolve. They are all exceptional, inspiring, and talented young people and as a school we couldn’t be prouder of them.
“All our teachers, support staff and governors, and our CELT leaders, are rightly proud of the incredible results this cohort of students has achieved after the seven years we have been lucky enough to have them in our care.”

“We couldn’t be prouder of our young people. They have worked incredibly hard and deserve every success. This Year 13 cohort have offered us a real sense of joy – they have worked hard, celebrated and supported each other, and should be proud of all they have achieved.”
