Our first ECT networking event of the year

This week over 30 ECTs took part in a networking event designed exclusively for CELT Early Career Teachers.

The event at Poltair School, offered ECTs a unique opportunity to network and socialise with one another at the beginning of the new school year.

The event enabled ECTs to gain valuable insights into establishing routines and expectations in new school settings from Deputy Trust Lead, Rich Baker.

"Starting a new teaching position can be both exciting and challenging and so it was important that we organised this event during the first week of term, to help them create a positive classroom environment from the outset." said Hayley Bissenden, Trust ECT Lead.
