Bodmin College celebrates A Level success

Excited students at Bodmin College, part of the Cornwall Education Learning Trust, are celebrating receiving their A Level results today.

The college is pleased to announce a year of excellent results for students. Their determination and hard work means that many have achieved strong results and will now be progressing onto their chosen next steps in higher and further education, or employment.

With fantastic results throughout the college, there have also been some standout individual performances including:

·       Emily D achieving three A*s in Further Mathematics, Mathematics and Chemistry, and an A in Physics, set to study Chemistry at the University of Bristol.

·       Naomi T achieving A*s in Biology and Psychology, and a B in English Literature and will study Psychology at the University of Edinburgh.

·       Jonah W achieving four As in Mathematics, History, English Literature and Drama and will study English at the University of Cambridge.

·       Alex R secured three As in Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics, and a B in Biology. Alex will study Chemistry at the University of Liverpool.

·       Jack J achieving an A* in Mathematics, an A in Physics and 2 Bs in Computer Science and Further Mathematics. Jack will study a degree apprenticeship in Accountancy with Francis Clark.

·       Robyn T achieving D*D*D in Performing Arts and will study at BIMM University.

·       Jessie W securing D*DD in Performing Arts and will be studying at Bird College.

·       Jodie H achieving A* Biology and has secured a place at University of Exeter to study Medicine.

Andy Booth, Head of Sixth Form at Bodmin College, said:
